In this workshop you will learn:
- The definition and history of gaslighting, and how it differs from other forms of abuse
- The signs and symptoms of gaslighting, including common tactics used by gaslighters
- The effects of gaslighting on mental health, relationships, and personal well-being
- Strategies for identifying and responding to gaslighting in different contexts (e.g., at work, in relationships, with family members)
- Tools for setting healthy boundaries, building self-esteem, and cultivating resilience in the face of gaslighting
- Resources and support networks for survivors of gaslighting, including therapy, advocacy groups, and community resources
- Best practices for supporting and believing individuals who disclose experiences of gaslighting.
